We live in world shattered by sin. The effects of sin are obvious in the world that we live in, and, unfortunately, even in us who claim to follow Jesus. What a sad reality…
Is there any hope to be found for our friends, families, co-workers, and neighbors who do not know Jesus?! What should we be doing about the context of brokenness that we find ourselves in as believers? What is our responsibility during this generation’s own share of spiritual darkness? Perhaps we can find encouragement and direction from the lives of Elijah and Elisha, two men who lived in a different age of spiritual darkness.
