Living in Uncertain Times

Passage: Philippians 4:6-7

Last week, Pastor Sam took us through a time of “taking inventory” to examine what God has been doing in our lives in 2021. Today, we’re going to look at one aspect of living in uncertain times–how should followers of Jesus Christ handle the inevitable worry that comes our way?

The apostle Paul wrote to the church at Philippi that they shouldn’t worry about anything (Philippians 4:6). Is this even a realistic goal? Is Paul telling us to ignore the real troubles that we encounter and pretend that everything is OK?

Let’s take a deeper dive into this part of the Letter to the Philippians and see.
