National Collection Week begins MONDAY, Nov 14, through SUNDAY, Nov 20! Now is the time to drop off your packed shoeboxes. Thank you for blessing a child with your generous gifts.
South Calgary Community Church is open every day this week:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday till 5:00 pm,
Wednesday till 6:30 pm,
Friday between 12 noon – 4:00 pm,
Saturday between 12 noon – 3:00 pm,
and the last drop-off day, Sunday, Nov 20, 10:00 am-4:00 pm.
We still need greeters to receive shoeboxes … can you help us?
Open times for greeters are: Wednesday (16th) 4:30-6:30; Saturday (19th) 12:00-1:30pm and 1:30-3:00pm; Sunday (20th) 12:00-2:00pm and 2:00-4:00pm. Talk to Kathy or Lynn in the office for one of these time slots.
Also on Monday (21st), we need some strong arms to load the collected boxes into the truck.
This is such an exciting week as teams across Canada collect thousands of shoeboxes for regional collection centres to process and ship to Ukraine, Philippines, El Salvador, and other countries worldwide.
You will be a part of helping Operation Christmas Child reach 200 million children since the Samaritan's Purse project began in 1993. We praise God for His faithfulness as we approach this milestone together!
