Prayer & Fasting Day

With the Fall semester quickly approaching and our Kick-Off Sunday happening soon, we would like to invite you to join us for a day of Prayer & Fasting on Wednesday, September 8th.
Why Are We Doing This?
Because it is the start of a new ministry semester. Because, Lord willing, it looks like we will be able to resume to 'almost' normal ministry activities this semester. Because new ministry initiatives will begin this semester. But most of all, because we are praying for a special work & move of God’s Spirit among us here—corporately & individually.
So we are asking you to pray for our church. Pray for our ministries. Pray for our small groups. Pray for our elders. Pray for our leaders. Pray for our staff. Pray for us as pastors. Pray for individuals. Pray for yourself.
We need to have an attitude of dependence on the Lord as we enter the Fall semester, and to align ourselves with him.
Ways To Join
Please join us for this special day however you want.
You might want to consider fasting from food for the whole day and dedicating that time to prayer instead. Maybe an all-day fast seems daunting, then consider fasting for part of the day—choose a meal or two. Maybe due to medical needs or conditions, you are unable to fast—that’s ok. If that's the case, participating in this day could look like dedicating time to prayer after you eat.
We do not want to draw a hard and fast rule about how you participate, so depending on your circumstances, get creative!
There will not be a special prayer meeting at church on this day, it is something you can participate in at home, at work, or wherever you happen to be!
