The Hidden Kingdom of the Present

Passage: Matthew 13:31-35

Jesus presents two more parables about the kingdom of heaven/God (see also Luke 13:18-20). Many people listening to him teach were probably wondering: Jesus,if God’s kingdom has arrived on Earth as you say, why hasn’t it triumphed over the evil of this world right now? And isn’t that often our question today? Jesus answers us in these parables.
