If you have arrived here, we assume you clicked on the QR code printed on our delivery pamphlet inside the bag that we hung on your door.  Perhaps you are wondering why we did that?  

 

We are a Christian Church in your neighborhood (South Calgary Community Church).  We believe in God and gather as a community of believers to worship Him, and support each other as family.  We place a high importance on the Bible and when we read it, we find many places where God instructs us to love our neighbor as ourselves. We believe God is good, and that the things He commands us to do are also good, even if they are not always easy. 

 

Lately its been easy for us all to just withdraw into a shell, keep to ourselves, and hope we can quietly pursue our own lives without drawing too much attention and possibly anger from the people all around us...this does not seem very loving, though.

We hung the Bags of Hope on the doors around the neighborhood as a way to reach out and say Hello!  We want to be neighborly!  We want to love you! ... but what does that look like for you? 

 

This page will give you an opportunity to learn a little about us, see the things that we do as part of loving each other within our little community, perhaps they can show you love too, and also give you the opportunity to tell us how we can help you.  Perhaps we can pray for you.  Perhaps you have children who could use some safe and fun activities (at several age levels).  Perhaps you want some safe and fun activities for yourself!
