A Call to Pray

Prayer is at the heart of everything we do as a church. Throughout Scripture, we are reminded of the power of interceding for one another—and how God moves when His people pray. We invite you to consider joining our Prayer Intercessors, a team committed to faithfully lifting up needs before the Lord and seeking His work among us.

Prayer is not just something we do—it is at the very heart of who we are as God’s people.
Throughout Scripture, we are called to pray, not only for ourselves, but for one another. The apostle Paul writes in 1 Timothy 2:1 (CSB), “I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone.”
“The Prayer Intercessors” is a group of people in our church who are committed to doing exactly that—lifting up needs, burdens, and praises before the Lord. When prayer requests come in, they are shared with this team so that, together, we can faithfully intercede.
And over the years, we have seen God answer. Again and again. Because the Lord is good.
The book of Acts makes this especially clear. Before every major movement of God, there was prayer. In Acts 1:14 (CSB), we see the early believers “all… united in prayer.” In Acts 4:31 (CSB), after they prayed, “the place where they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.” Prayer was not an afterthought—it was the foundation.
If we want to thrive as a church, we must be a praying church. And that’s where you come in. We invite you to join “The Prayer Intercessors.” You don’t need to be an expert—just someone willing to faithfully bring needs before the Lord. This is a quiet but vital ministry, one that strengthens the whole body of Christ.
To be part of the team, you will need to download WhatsApp, which we use as our communication hub to share prayer requests.
