South Calgary Community Church has received the sad news of the passing of Dr. Chris Brooks , a longtime friend of our church and a faithful servant of Christ. Dr. Brooks went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2026 , at the age of 87, after a short illness. Some in our congregation will remember Dr. Brooks from his visits in the early 2000s, when he preached at South Calgary Community Church and strengthened our connection with ministry work in Malawi.
