This Sunday is our first week of two with a special collection for our Compassion Ministry Christmas Grocery Gift Card. This year we are trying to have the families have the gift cards earlier than previous years. As we enter the month of November we are now only 3 weeks away from Collection Week!  We have had a great number of volunteers come forward and sign up for the different shifts. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been exploring the possibility of using WhatsApp to help communicate with specific groups within South Calgary Community Church. We recently invited our members and attendees to complete a short survey, and we’re thankful for the 39 people who responded — thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! Join in to sing the songs of the season this year. We will meet Tuesdays from 6:00-7:15pm starting November 4th. November 11th will not have a session. For more details please continue reading below. This November and December we will be singing the songs of the season together on Tuesday nights. This is an opportunity for any level of singer. We will be learning together about the songs we will sing through the Christmas season and enjoying worshipping and fellowship.

On Sunday, November 2 , we’ll have a very special service at South Calgary Community Church — our Young Adults will be leading the entire morning! From worship to announcements, and even the preaching, everything will be led by our young adults as they share what God has placed on their hearts.
