Join Our 'Practice Your English' Team

'Practice Your English' is restarting this September, and we are looking for volunteers to help welcome and encourage newcomers to Canada as they build confidence in speaking English. If you are interested in becoming a facilitator, please read the article below and consider joining us for our upcoming planning meeting.

Practice Your English, our church program for non-native English speakers and newcomers to Canada, will be restarting in mid-September.

We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in serving as facilitators. Facilitators help create a welcoming, encouraging space where participants can practise speaking English, build confidence, and connect with others.

Current facilitators will meet at the church on Tuesday, September 8 at 6:00 p.m. to reflect on last year, discuss what worked well, and share ideas for the coming year. Anyone interested in volunteering is warmly invited to attend this meeting and learn more about the program.
