Are YOU the one ?

We have some exciting news: We will be starting a new ministry this fall and YOU have the chance to be part of it!

For several months, we have been working on obtaining food donations for those who are finding it difficult to put food on the table within our church community (English and Russian Language Ministry), and for those in need in our surrounding communities.

After many months of contacting many different organizations and businesses, God has opened up the door for our church to be part of a food donation program called the Spinz-A-Round food program.

Once per week, our church has the chance to collect food that we can give away to anyone who needs it.

The English and Russian Language Ministries are very excited about this new opportunity.

This is where YOU come in.

Acts 6:3  ^"Brothers and sisters, select from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Spirit and wisdom, whom we can appoint to this duty."

We are looking for help and there are two ways YOU can get involved in this ministry:

1. Food Pick-up: (seeking 1-2 more volunteers)

   - On Tuesday, between 8:00-8:15 a.m. you will drive with another volunteer to the facility to pick up food from the NE

   - Collect food from facility and load into vehicle

   - Return to church and put away all items in designated fridges, freezers and shelves (by approximately 11:00 a.m. all tasks would be complete)

   - You would go about twice per month

2. Food distribution: (seeking 5-6 volunteers)

   - Time commitment will be approximately 3:30-6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, about twice per month

   - Set out food for giving to families/individuals

   - Welcome and help families/individuals collect food

   - Minister to community people that come, and seek for opportunities for evangelism and connection with new families

   - Return food that was not taken to proper storage spots (fridge/freezer/shelves)

   - Maintain food organization and freshness
