Greeters for Shoebox Collection Week

Shoebox National Collection Week is just one month away – Nov. 17-23! And we are hoping you’ll be one of the smiling faces to welcome donors and receive their shoebox gifts.

Starting this Sunday we will have a table with a Volunteer sign up form. You can also contact Alyssa or Nicole in the church office (office@southcalgary.church) if you would be interested. We will also need volunteers for Monday, November 24th to load the cartons of shoeboxes into the truck before it goes up to Samaritan’s Purse Warehouse. Greeters are needed…


  • Monday (17th) 3:00-5:00pm (2)

  • Tuesday (18th) 3:00-5:00pm (2)

  • Wednesday (19th) 3:00-5:00pm (2)

  • Wednesday (19th) 5:00-6:30pm (2)

  • Thursday (20th) 3:00-5:00pm (2)

  • Friday (21st) 12:00-1:30pm (2)

  • Friday (21st) 1:30-3:00pm (2)

  • Saturday (22nd) 12:00-1:30pm (2)

  • Saturday (22nd) 1:30-3:00pm (2)

  • Sunday (23rd) 9:30-11:30am (2)

  • Sunday (23rd) 11:30am-1:30pm (3)

  • Sunday (23rd) 1:30-4:00pm (3-4) to finish cartons for shipping

  • Monday (24th)10:00am for loading


Volunteers will always work with 1 or 2 other greeters. We look forward to having you (and your welcoming smile) on the team.
