Help Our Doll Knitters Make a Difference

Our Doll Knitters Ministry is preparing to begin another season of serving our community and mission partners. If you have extra yarn to donate—or if you enjoy knitting or crocheting (or would like to learn!)—this is a wonderful opportunity to use your gifts to bless others. Read below to learn how you can help.

We need your help!

As we prepare for our fall session of Doll Knitters, we are looking for donations of yarn. While we make dolls for Samaritan's Purse shoeboxes, we also create handmade items for several local ministries and charities, including:

• Hats, mittens, and scarves for the Mustard Seed

• Baby blankets and sweaters for Mainspring Pregnancy & Family Support

• Teddy bears for smaller hospitals in Central Alberta

• Prayer shawls for the women at Narrow Road Home

If you or someone you know is cleaning out a yarn stash and would like to donate, we would be very grateful.

We are also looking for knitters, crocheters, and anyone who would like to learn. Join us on Tuesdays beginning September 8 at 10:00 a.m. here at the church.
