This Sunday we will be collecting a Special Offering to provide Pew Bibles for our sanctuary. As God brings new faces among us, we want everyone to be able to follow along as we read and explore His Word together. This is a simple way to place God’s Word into more hands—and more hearts.

This Sunday we will receive a Special Offering to help us purchase Pew Bibles for our sanctuary.
Over the past months, God has been blessing our church with a steady stream of visitors and new faces. Many are exploring the Scriptures for the first time. Others are returning to church after years away. As we gather to worship and open God’s Word together, we want everyone—long-time members and first-time guests alike—to be able to follow along, read for themselves, and engage with Scripture.
The Bible is not just a book we quote from the front. It is God’s living Word—His voice speaking into our lives (Hebrews 4:12). When people can hold it in their hands, see the words for themselves, and trace the passages we are reading, something powerful happens: God’s truth becomes personal.
While many of us use Bible apps on our phones, a physical Bible offers unique benefits:
It removes digital distractions—no notifications, messages, or temptations to scroll.
It helps us slow down and linger in the text.
It allows people to see the whole story—what comes before and after a verse.
If you have your own Bible... it becomes a place to underline, highlight, and write notes—marking moments when God speaks.
Our desire is not to replace personal Bibles, but to equip our church family and our guests. We also continue to encourage everyone to bring their own Bible to worship. There is something beautiful about a congregation opening God’s Word together—pages turning, eyes searching, hearts listening.
This special offering will allow us to place a Bible within reach of every person who sits in our sanctuary. It is a simple investment with eternal impact. A Bible placed in a pew today may be the very tool God uses tomorrow to draw someone to Himself.
Thank you for prayerfully considering how you might participate in this opportunity to put God’s Word into more hands—and into more hearts.
