Strike...STRIKE!

Well, the teachers' strike is still going strong, so how about we take advantage of the extra time off school for the kids?

If you have kids in school right now, the teachers' strike has likely brought some extra flexibility and freedom to your daily schedule (Good or Bad? You decide).

There's no school to keep them occupied with during the day, so why don't we do something fun with the unexpected time off?

BUT, this isn't just about fun, it's about maintaining their education during the strike. Bowling is basically like having gym class...and bowling uses numbers, so we'll count that as their math class for the day (it's way better than those math books at home anyways).

In short, by bowling with your children, you will be INVESTING in their educational future. 

In true strike spirit, the plan is to go bowling on Thursday afternoon (Oct. 23).

And with no end in sight to the strike, who knows, maybe we will have the opportunity for more strike based activities together...
