Update on the Pew Bibles

Thank you for your generosity in the Pew Bible special offering. We are encouraged by your support and excited about placing faithful, readable CSB Bibles within reach of every seat in our sanctuary. Read the update below...

We are grateful to share an encouraging update regarding our recent special offering for pew Bibles. Thanks to the generosity of our church family, we have received more than $1,400, which will allow us to purchase approximately 100 pew Bibles for our sanctuary.

We will be ordering the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) edition. As a church, we have been using the CSB because it reflects a careful balance between faithfulness to the original biblical languages and clarity in modern English. This translation seeks to preserve the meaning and precision of Scripture while remaining highly readable, making it especially helpful for both long-time believers and those who may be reading the Bible for the first time.

At the moment, these pew Bibles are temporarily out of stock. The publisher is preparing a new printing, with an estimated availability date of March 15, 2026. For this reason, we will need to wait a little longer before placing our order.
