Get Connected

Updated: May 10

Our Weekly Update emails have become an important way for our church family to stay connected throughout the week. Since we no longer use printed Sunday bulletins, these Friday emails now serve as our church “e-bulletin,” helping everyone stay informed about upcoming events, ministries, prayer needs, and church life. Learn more about a new and easy way to access these updates on Sundays through QR codes around the church.

At South Calgary Community Church, communication matters because church is more than just a Sunday gathering — it is a family walking together throughout the week. For many years, churches relied on printed bulletins to keep everyone informed about upcoming events, ministries, and important announcements. Since COVID, however, we have no longer produced a paper bulletin during our Sunday services. Instead, we have faithfully continued a different kind of bulletin: our weekly Friday email.

Every Friday morning, our church sends out a Weekly Update email that serves as our “e-bulletin.” Inside, you will find important announcements, upcoming events, ministry updates, articles, volunteer opportunities, and information about what is happening in the life of our church family. It has become one of the main ways we stay connected and informed throughout the week.

We know that sometimes it can be easy to miss an email or forget to check your inbox before Sunday morning. That is why we are introducing a new and simple way to access our Weekly Updates during church services. Beginning soon, QR codes will be available around the church building and on the screen during announcements. By simply scanning the QR code with your phone camera, you will be taken directly to the latest Weekly Update page where you can quickly access all the current information and announcements.

Our goal is to make communication easier, clearer, and more accessible for everyone. Whether you are looking for information about upcoming events, ministry opportunities, sermon series, discipleship classes, or ways to get involved, the Weekly Update is one of the best ways to stay connected with what God is doing at South Calgary Community Church.

If you are not yet receiving our Friday emails, we encourage you to subscribe so you can stay informed and engaged with the life of our church family throughout the week.
