Men’s Ministry is Growing

The Men’s Ministry at SCCC is growing! Alongside our regular Wednesday morning Men’s Coffee, we’ve launched a new evening Men’s Gathering every other Wednesday at Jason Slobodian’s house. Whether you can join in the morning or the evening, these are great opportunities for men of all ages to connect, grow in faith, and encourage one another.

The Men’s Ministry at South Calgary Community Church is expanding, and we’re excited to offer more opportunities for men to connect and grow together.

For many years, Men’s Coffee has been a consistent place of fellowship, meeting every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church. This group will continue meeting regularly, and all men who are able to join during the day are warmly invited to come for meaningful conversation, prayer, and encouragement.

Recognizing that many men aren’t available during the day, we’ve also launched a new evening Men’s Gathering, meeting every other Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jason Slobodian’s house. This new group had its first meeting recently, and the next one will be on Wednesday, October 22.

This is an open invitation for all men—of any age—to be part of either or both of these gatherings. Whether in the morning or evening, the goal is the same: to grow in faith, build real friendships, and strengthen one another. As Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another.”
