Mission Trip to Romania

We’re excited to share that we are planning a mission trip to the Transylvania region of Romania for the summer of 2027—and this is an open invitation for anyone in our church family to consider being part of it.


This trip will focus on serving alongside local churches in the towns of Satu Mare and Carei, partnering in meaningful, ongoing ministry. We anticipate traveling from Calgary through Amsterdam and Budapest before heading into the region, where our team will likely stay in local homes—an opportunity to experience the culture and build close connections with the people we serve.


At the heart of this mission is Jesus’ call in Mark 16:15 to “go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” For us, that will look like supporting Vacation Bible Schools and English Day Camps for children, ministries that have been impacting lives in the region for years through Camp Falcon Rock.


This trip is not only about serving others—it’s also about what God will do in us. As we step out together, we expect to grow spiritually, deepen relationships, and experience God at work in powerful ways. There is also a real need: many young people have been leaving Romania in recent years, and ministries like Camp Falcon Rock are bringing hope and the message of Christ to those who remain.


We are aiming for a two-week trip in August 2027. The estimated cost is around $3,500, with opportunities for fundraising and support from our church family. With more than a year to prepare, there is time to pray, plan, and save.
