Neighbours Day BBQ

Our Missions Team is excited to invite the whole church family to our 3rd Annual Cedarbrae Neighbours Day BBQ on Friday, June 19th at 6:00 PM. This is more than just a meal together — it’s a wonderful opportunity to welcome our community, build relationships, and share the love of Jesus in a simple and meaningful way.

Your Missions Team is excited to host the 3rd Annual BBQ on Friday, June 19th at 6:00 PM to celebrate Cedarbrae Neighbours Day.

Everyone from the SCCC congregation is invited to the BBQ! Please register your attendance in one of three ways: (1) on the church website, <CLICK HERE> (2) by emailing office@southcalgary.church, or

(3) by calling the office at 403-281-6755

SO that we can estimate the amount of food needed.

This is an outreach opportunity to invite our Cedarbrae neighbours to eat and engage in conversation with us all. This means that you are invited as a “Christian with a mission” to purposefully go up to someone you have not seen before and engage in conversation to make them feel welcome. The vision is to share our love for Jesus, and you can do that by talking about how He has changed you and your life for the better.

We will still have assigned people in host roles (arrive at 5:30 PM), even though everyone will be acting as hosts. Please consider signing up for this role or helping out in other ways by checking out the sign-up lists in the foyer.

We are also kindly asking for monetary donations ahead of, or on the day of, the BBQ to help cover food costs.
