Every month in our Church Update Email, we take a moment to celebrate one of the many volunteers who serve so faithfully at South Calgary. Our church is blessed with people who give their time and gifts so generously, and our ministry simply wouldn’t be the same without them.

This month, we want to express our gratitude to

Werner Gerl.

Werner serves as our Maintenance Team Coordinator, faithfully helping to care for our building and ensuring that everything runs smoothly week by week. He also assists with donations every Tuesday, helping count and deposit funds—a quiet but essential task that keeps our ministries functioning well.

In addition, Werner often drives some of the Doll Knitters to and from the church, making it possible for them to participate in this meaningful ministry.

Werner, thank you for your steady commitment, practical service, and willing heart. Your behind-the-scenes work is deeply appreciated and makes a real difference in the life of our church.
