Sunday School Report 2025

Over the last few months our Sunday School ministry has once again grown significantly! We have seen another influx of families with kids, and that means that our Sunday School has been enjoying many new faces.

As Sunday School families we were able to gather in Fish Creek for a hot dog roast as we started into the new semester, and the Teachers Strike in October provided an opportunity for some of our kids & youth to go bowling during what would usually be school time. Next up in terms of events will be the kids & families Christmas party taking place on Saturday, December 6 at 1pm (mark your calendars parents!). Lord willing, we will have more events and activities taking place in 2026.

Over the past couple months we have finished up a kids version of John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, and most recently finished going through the Bible using the Action Bible curriculum. Later this month we will be starting to look at some of Jesus' parables during our Sunday School time.

Please be praying for this ministry, for our many kids, and for the families we have here. The Lord has been blessing us and we want to faithfully teach the kids that the Lord has brought here and entrusted to our church. Please pray for those who help in our Sunday School ministry week after week (Yesenia, Sarah M, Rebekah, Daniel M, Corrine).

Lastly, there is a need for maybe 1-2 more people to serve in our Sunday School ministry, so if you love kids and have a desire to help teach them God's Word, please talk to me about how you could get involved.
