We're excited to share an update from Adam Janzen as he prepares for his mission trip to Vietnam! In this update post, Adam shared his departure details and prayer requests for the trip. Let's join together in prayer for Adam, his team, and the people they'll be serving.
Hello Everyone!
I wanted to send out another email before I leave for my mission trip which is coming up very soon! In just 12 days (April 30) I will be flying out of Calgary and will eventually be in Vietnam by May 2.
There are many small ways I have been preparing for the trip and there is still more to do to prepare, but I won't get into those details right now. If you would like to hear more about it, let me know!
The main reason I am sending an update is to share the following prayer requests with you (There's quite a few haha):
Pray for the rest of the Vietnam team, that those who are still raising money would be able to reach their goal before the deadline (April 26).
Pray for me and my team as we prepare for the trip, both in gathering the things we need to bring and in preparing for the work God has for us.
Pray for the people of Vietnam and those we will be interacting with throughout the trip.
Pray for me as I continue to sort out the details of managing my medical condition while on the trip. Praise God for how He has already answered prayers in this area!
Pray for me and my team as we have online orientation on April 29 and April 30.
Pray for safe travels as we will be flying out of Canada on May 1.
In addition to these, one of the leaders for the trip made up a prayer calendar that we can send to our supporters so that you know how you can be praying for us during the trip! I'll attach that document to this email. Another reason this is helpful is I don't know how communication will work once I am in country and I may only be able to contact a few people.
