Join us for our church decorating festivity , Friday, November 28 at 6:30pm . All ages are welcome. It’s always a great opportunity to come together as a church family and decorate God’s house. As we enter the month of November we are now only 3 weeks away from Collection Week!  We have had a great number of volunteers come forward and sign up for the different shifts. There are only five shifts left needing to be filled: Monday (17th) 3:00-5:00pm  Saturday (22nd) 1:30-3:00pm  Sunday (23rd) 9:30-11:30am  Sunday (23rd) 11:30am-1:30pm  Sunday (23rd) 1:30-4:00pm  to finish cartons for shipping If you are able to volunteer during one of the shifts please let Alyssa know

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been exploring the possibility of using WhatsApp to help communicate with specific groups within South Calgary Community Church. We recently invited our members and attendees to complete a short survey, and we’re thankful for the 39 people who responded — thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! This Seniors Coffee & Chat  has an added party to the mix on Friday, November 14th at 10am . Join in to sing the songs of the season this year. We will meet Tuesdays from 6:00-7:15pm starting November 4th. November 11th will not have a session. For more details please continue reading below. This November and December we will be singing the songs of the season together on Tuesday nights. This is an opportunity for any level of singer. We will be learning together about the songs we will sing through the Christmas season and enjoying worshipping and fellowship.

On Sunday, November 2 , we’ll have a very special service at South Calgary Community Church — our Young Adults will be leading the entire morning! From worship to announcements, and even the preaching, everything will be led by our young adults as they share what God has placed on their hearts. We’re grateful to have already served several families, and it’s encouraging to see this ministry in action as we care for one another in practical ways.
